Critical mass protest

Some pictures from the critical mass. A critical mass is a sort of cyclists' anti-traffic protest, which basically consists of upto about 1000 cyclists, and which progresses around London very slowly- about 4 m.p.h.- while all the traffic has to wait. Great fun! It happens the last Friday of each month at 6pm, meeting under Waterloo Bridge (South Bank side) in London.

Starting off from Waterloo Bridge. The route is not fixed- it's up to whoever's at the front of the mass at the time.

Some amazing bloke (on his fantastic bike-dragon-thing) who appears to come on each critical mass.

We receive a free police escort (they're actually very co-operative! No, seriously, they are!).

Trafalgar Square. The person on the bike with the yellow sign also appears to be a regular (but with a different motto each time- e.g. 'Legalise canabis, snort carbon monoxide'). Sign says: 'The car- more of a toilet than a convenience'.

Downing Street. The mass goes on after this, but the other photos that I took were too dark unfortunately!
