King's College Choir tours
Photos from various events from when I was in King's College Choir.
At the Choir dinner, and end-of-year celebration for those Choral Scholars who were leaving - Tom Williams, myself, Tom Bullard, with Chris Bagnall in front.
Mikhail Gorbachev, who you can just make out in this photo (as with all these photos, click on it to enlarge it), came to visit, walking by outside my (then) room.
From a visit to Paris (in my opinion a dreadful city because the drivers make it so unpleasant - they're fast and rude) for a concert, the view from the hotel, 23 floors up.
From a mini-tour to Frankfurt: in the best spirit of European progressiveness, the staff use bikes to get around the airport because of the bikes' efficiency!
A day before the internationally-broadcast Festival of Nine Lessons and Carols, people are camping out overnight to ensure they get a good seat in Chapel.
And on the day of the service, the queue stretches half-way round the College, so the Choral Scholars (Collegium Regale) sing.
